Broker Update Email (7)

Dear Broker Partners,

We'd like to share a few Curi updates about products and services designed to simplify things for you and your clients.

MPL Policy Payment Assistance to the Hurricane-Impacted

While practices and their patients continue to recover from the impacts of the recent hurricanes, please know Curi is closely following all State of Emergency Bulletins related to Hurricanes Helene and Milton, ensuring that invoicing and cancellations for nonpayment are handled appropriately.

As needed, clients can deactivate their automatic premium withdrawals under “Access Invoices and Manage Payments” via the Curi Payment Portal. If your clients make their payments manually, they can contact us for assistance at ar.invoices@curi.com.

Main Phone Number Update

As of Wednesday, November 6, all calls are being directed through our new number, 800-328-5532. No calls will be lost. Anyone calling former Curi 800 numbers will be redirected to our main client support team who are ready to answer questions live or direct your calls to the appropriate teams.

Revamping Our New Client Onboarding Email Journey

As we continue to welcome new clients to Curi, we want to ensure they have an informative and shared experience. Therefore, we are introducing a new client onboarding email journey which will launch this month. The journey will:

  • Go to all new Curi policyholders
  • Have a total of 6 messages to be sent once a month
  • Customized messages per audience segment (i.e., physician, admin, hospital/LTC)
  • The messages cover the primary topics current clients have found most useful:
    • Claims/early intervention (how to file a claim, resources)
    • How to use the client portal and payment methods (message by segment)
    • Getting the most from Curi.com  (risk resources, payment, claims form, etc.)
    • Curi Advisory
    • Curi benefits
    • What to expect at your renewal

In addition to the revamped email journey, we’re also updating the onboarding webpage with the topics above and more. This page will be accessible to clients through the email journey.

Pennsylvania Rate Filings Reminder

While analyzing rates within any region, we strive to remain as fair as possible while maintaining run-of-business requirements. As such, and effective December 1, 2024, we must institute rate revisions to the Physicians & Surgeons Claims Made, Claims Made Plus, and Occurrence programs in the state of Pennsylvania. See our Q3 broker update for details.

We also wanted you to be aware that PA has issued a Medical Care Availability and Reduction of Error Fund; Notice of and Amount of Assessment Action bullet which provides notification of an annual assessment to be levied in 2025. See the bulletin for details.

Curi Advisory Practice Consulting Outreach

Our Curi Advisory team will be reaching out to some of our joint small-to-mid-sized client practices across the U.S. in the coming weeks, letting them know about the expanding set of consulting solutions that we can offer practice leaders to help them protect, optimize, and grow their businesses. The team will share more about our core services in the areas of Financial Consulting, HR & Staffing Solutions, Operational Efficiency, and Strategic Growth.

Visit the Practice Consulting page of our website to learn more (plus watch some recent client testimonial videos!). You’re also welcome—and encouraged—to reach out to Curi Advisory’s CEO, Brad Diericx, with any questions.

Net Promoter Score (NPS)

We have found that the best way to know if we are meeting, and hopefully exceeding, our broker partner's needs and expectations (and those of their clients) is to ask. Our survey is composed of two core questions that will help us understand your overall satisfaction with Curi. Your responses will be anonymous and will take 2 minutes to complete. If you haven’t had a chance to complete this yet, we’d appreciate your time and input.
