We'd like to share a few Curi updates about products and services designed to simplify things for you and your clients.
NEW
New Applications and Questionnaires Now Available
We are pleased to announce the release of our updated and integrated applications and questionnaires, now available on our website. The new applications and questionnaires are standardized across all states and companies within Curi*, helping to streamline the submission process. They are designed with flexibility in mind, supporting both new and existing policy forms across all companies.
We encourage you to visit our website to access and begin using the forms while noting the following:
Applications are company-specific and filed with the state Departments of Insurance effective 9/1. All states require filings with the exception of MI, NJ, TX, and VA. To the best of your ability, please use the Application that aligns with the effective date. If you need an application for coverage with an effective date prior to 9/1, please contact your underwriter or business development consultant.
Questionnaires are not company-specific and are available for use now regardless of the coverage effective date.
*New applications and questionnaires do not apply to non-standard physician submissions.

Like all companies, we adapt to changing operational needs each year as market conditions, claims environment, and strategic priorities evolve. This year has been a pivotal one, requiring focused investment in initiatives and prudent management of integration costs as we make progress in our One Curi transformation. Given these competing demands on our resources, rather than making smaller allocations to the Legacy Fund program this year, we've made the forward-focused decision to direct resources toward initiatives that will advance our mutual success.
We know these programs matter to you and our mutual clients as much as they do to us, and we haven't made this decision lightly. This decision affects only new allocations for this year. Client’s existing Legacy Fund balances remain completely intact, and their eligibility for qualifying event payouts continues unchanged. Current Legacy Fund statements, along with an explanatory letter, are being mailed out to clients this week and should arrive by early August.
