Broker Update Email-1

Here are a couple Curi updates to read as you sip your pumpkin spice latte (honestly, the flavor is everywhere!)

New In The Policyholder Services Portal (PHS)

  • Cancellation for Non-Payment or Premium Letters in PHS: Curi will continue to mail the letters via certified mail to clients. However, given we wanted to ensure you had access to the downloadable letters for your own reference, we have now made them available in PHS located under the finance section of the “Documents” tab.
  • Commission statements can now be added to PHS. If you’d like to have this functionality activated and accessible, please contact Amber Popham at amber.popham@curi.com.

Premium Payment Process Updates

Curi is rolling out some enhanced billing and payment features for policyholders in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Here are a few system highlights:

  • Electronic one-time payment options remain available via credit card or ACH account information
  • Recurring autopayments available via ACH banking information or credit card (without fees)
  • Paperless billing option available
  • Email and SMS text notifications will be available for new invoice notification, payment reminders, payment confirmation etc.

Learn more about the system transition in the FAQs and general flyer. Additional client facing training resources are coming soon.

In preparation for the transition, effective immediately, we are no longer enrolling new or existing clients in our Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT).

As the launch of these system enhancements gets closer, your Curi member services rep will reach out to provide additional training. You may also contact Amber Popham at amber.popham@curi.com for additional information.

All The Risk Resources. One Location.

We have created a comprehensive Risk Solutions Resource Catalog that streamlines access to our offerings, such as handbooks, risk assessments, toolkits, policy documents, 400+ patient consent forms, and much more. Check it out today!

Are your clients looking for ways to earn CME credit? Some of our assessment tools qualify. One example is our newly updated Clinical Patient Safety Risk Assessment, which now uses pre-assessment questions to identify a practice’s specific risk areas based on scope of services. The assessment is designated for the PI CME activity for a maximum of 20.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Please reach out to CMETeam@curi.com with any questions.

Curi is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Curi designates this PI risk assessment for a maximum of 20.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
