We're already a couple weeks into the new year and holding strong with our resolution to share Curi updates about products and services designed to simplify things for you and your clients.
UPDATED: Curi's Overdue Billing Report
To maintain our transparency regarding the status of your practice accounts and communications with your clients, beginning January 30, and every Tuesday thereafter, we will be sharing Overdue Billing Reports with your agency for informational purposes. This report contains details on any accounts that are past due on premium payments.
Accounts who have moved into a Cancellation for Non-Payment of Premium (CNPP) status will be noted on the report. Copies of the CNPP letters are available for download on Curi’s Policyholder Services Portal (PHS) located under the Documents tab. Additionally, all billing activity and invoices are also available on PHS for download.
We continue to follow state insurance regulations and send cancellation notices directly to accounts in overdue status. When appropriate, we will work with you and your accounts to be as flexible as possible. Although no action on your part is required, we wanted to ensure you had data - as the broker of record – on any of your accounts with overdue payments in case you would like to follow-up with these practice accounts.
We will be sharing this information and the report for the agency distribution list we have on record. If you have any questions or if you'd like to make changes to your agency's distribution list for this report, please contact Amber Popham at amber.popham@curi.com for assistance.

Updated: Informed Consent Toolkit Many practices utilize informed consents, but not all use procedure-specific documents. Curi believes that a procedure-specific informed consent form provides a stronger defense should a medical malpractice claim arise. This updated, interactive toolkit walks through the informed consent process.

We are continuing our rolling communications (centered around renewal time) to clients currently using an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Program and walking them through the process of setting up their new account and completing a one-time AutoPay registration in advance of their upcoming renewal.
For answers to additional questions regarding the impact to current EFT customers like how clients will be notified of the change, impact to their current draft date, and the billing process for those who choose not to register for AutoPay, please refer to the APW Customer FAQs.
