New HIPAA Prerequisite Affecting All Physicians Sharing Reproductive Health-Related PHI
All physicians, regardless of specialty, are now required by law to refrain from sharing information with requestors that is “potentially” related to reproductive healthcare without first obtaining a compliant attestation. Due to recent efforts to make PHI more broadly accessible, OCR’s new Final Rule will likely affect clinicians beyond the primary care and OB-GYN specialties.
We offer a collection of timely webinars, including new recordings on Ethics & Risk Management (CME) and Risk Mitigation for Unplanned EMR Downtime (On-Demand). Click below to access them all; our on-demand webinars do not require sign-in credentials.
